Christmas Time is Here!
The three bros all ready to open gifts. They had their pj's and Santa hats on and were patient enough to let us take pictures of them. They are such good boys!! We had our own little Christmas tonight while G&G were at a party for work. The gifts get spread out a little that way. They will get 5 different times to open gifts instead of 1 overwhelming time!!
Here is Hayden and his Little Einstein's ship he got. He was so excited. It's the 1st Christmas he actually understood a little of what was going on and he loved it!!
Jaxon got a Wii game that he has been loving already. It's amazing how fast he can pick up on games like that and I have no clue what is going on!
Info on Jaxon's appointment.....
Jaxon had a couple big appointments on Thurs. and Fri. in Rochester. We saw his rehab Dr. 1st on Thus. and when we told her what Jax has been through the last few months, she really felt like we needed to get him a walker and a wheel chair, to start to get him some independence. When Jax has a flare, like he did last week after he was in the hospital, he doesn't walk by himself much. I carry him around a lot and that is hard on me because he is heavy, but he would rather be able to do things on his own and these would give him that chance. He would also be able to try school on the days he can't walk, which would make him feel great too. He hates to miss school, but some days he doesn't walk until 2 or 3 pm. Then we had an ultrasound on his belly, because of all his issues in that area. And we had blood taken. It was a long day! The next day we got the results of his blood and ultrasound from Dr. Mason. The blood work was not surprising at all. His counts were high again, which wasn't good. On the ultrasound he was fine. His spleen is enlarged, but that is from all his meds and his JRA. That could be some of the cause of his stomach problems, but it could be an ulcer too, we will find out more in Jan. Dr. Mason, put his steroids up again to 5mls, which he was on 3mls, to get his swelling in his legs to go down. We are also going to go down again in Jan.13th and have cortisone shots put directly into both hips, ankles and knees. There is alot of fluid so they will take some out too before they do the shot. He will be out for this which will make it way easier. He is thinking that maybe getting it right at his problem sites we can get more of a result we want. He didn't want to do it until necessary because he has so many places to do it in! Then we will go from there. What our goal is(the same thing it's been for 2 yrs.) to try to get him off of steroids so he can grow. He has hardly grown at all in the last 1 and a half yrs. at least maybe more. We had company on this trip which was good and bad for Jax all at the same time. Jeremy had b-ball so Mom and I took all three boys. Jonah and Hayden love to go, but it's such a long trip, and they can get pretty cranky. (which I can too I guess, so who can blame them). Jax liked to have them along and loved to bring them to his fav. places to eat, like the Noodles Company and Quiznoes. He also got to pick Apple Bees Thurs. night when G&G Knick took us out to eat. We had alot of fun staying with them that night. It is such a blessing to have them to stay with on these trips! Jaxon loves it there, it is his comfort! We will know more soon and I will update then.

Fun with the Boys...
I took these pics today, and it's cold, but they were there yesterday on a day that was -40 deg. with windchill!! They have almost all the roof done and were working inside today. It's coming up fast, and starting to look like a house!
The Boys once again in their Vikings shirts
Okay, I know it looks like all my kids wear is their Vikings shirts, but they are always wanting me to take pics on the days the Vikings play! I love this pic of Hayden, he takes really good pics. He is a handsom boy! Jonah is the one who never, ever takes a normal pic, he is always doing something silly, or not looking. He is a handsom boy too, just a silly one!
I don't know why the peace sign has been so cool lately, but here it is again. Jax was having his best day of the week this day. He really didn't come around until Sun. His fever finally went away, and we first noticed it when he got down from his bunk all by himself and walked upstairs, the first time in over a week!

Pictures of our new house!!
Here it is, it's been started!! They have been kind of poky getting it started, but now they are moving and hopefully we still will get to get in by the end of Jan., at the latest. You can't see it on these pictures but we will be living right behind the school which will be so convenient. The back side of the school has an entrance for the lower elementary, K-2nd is down there so the boys and Jeremy will go in there. Plus there is a really nice playground right there too! It all seems pretty unreal still, but now that I'm not busy with volleyball it's all I can think of . I can't wait! That said, things could not have gone better with my mom and dad! They have been great and we've all got along so well. Being here during my grandma's death, while my dad was gone was really good, and I don't know how we could have made it through this other hospital stint with Jaxon. It made things way easier, that's for sure and the boys weren't as disrupted, which is so huge for them! Basketball season next year will be alot easier for Jer though, when he has late practice @5:30pm-7:30pm it gets to be long cause he really can't come home in between. God always knows the timing of our lives even when we have no clue which way to go. It has been incredible to watch Him work everything out to get us to Ashby, closer to home. Now we are trying to leave the house in Wheaton in his hands, it needs to sell. But I believe that He will finish what He has started!!

Home is a great place to be!!
Jonah actually smiling and looking at the camera!
It's amazing!!
Jaxon's ready to party!
WELCOME HOME JAXON!!
Jaxon and I got home from the hospital at about 2pm this afternoon and were greeted by Grandma, she said that Jonah and Hayden were sleeping, but she had a "coming home party" all ready for us when they woke up! Jaxon was so excited to be home, but I think his brothers were just as excited(or maybe more)to have their big brother home! Hayden woke up and ran to Jax and gave him a huge hug that lasted a long time, especially for Hayden. And Jonah doted on Jax all evening, it was so cute! You could see what a good brother he is by their reactions. Brittney joined our party because she came over to help me out with the boys. And Grandma had to go to work, so she couldn't join us, even though she did it all! It was a great afternoon! Jax is feeling better, his doc. still thinks it was just a bug and he dehydrated really fast! They did do that test on the spot on his belly and it wasn't ringworm, but they are culturing it to see if he has another bacteria that could cause these symptoms. That could be the cause of everything. We wont find that out for another week or so. Thanks again for all your prayers, and you can keep praying that Jax will be able to totally get over this and that we will find out the results of his tests soon! You can also pray for patience for him cause he really wants to go back to school tomorrow and he can't!

Going Home....
The doctors think Jaxon had some sort of bug and his fever really dehydrated him fast. He has such a run down immune system that it doesn't take much, plus you add JRA and all the meds. he is on. I think that we are going to get to go home this afternoon!! Jax is pretty excited. You can tell that he feels better this morning! He has been joking around and he wanted to take a bath, so he is squeaky clean. His Dr. said that he is hydrated and his fever has been gone since last night. They don't think it is his appendix, which is a relief! He does have a weird raised ring on his tummy that he has had for a couple of weeks which could be ring worm or something, they are doing some testing on it, so we will wait and see. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. I am going to go home and try to get some sleep!! Jeremy just called and said that they are really working on our house today, so that's exciting! Maybe we will actually get in next month this time.

Update on Jaxon
Well, we had quite a crazy last 24 hours. Yesterday Jax wasn't feeling very good and we thought it was just a JRA flare,(not just a flare, cause when he has one he doesn't walk around and we were up on and off from 3am and on, because he was in a lot of pain in his legs and stuff). But last evening he started to get more of a fever and was hurting in his tummy, pain that made him cry out when he sneezed. At 10pm we decided to bring him in cause his fever was spiking to 102 and he hurt when we pressed on the right side of his belly and I was worried about his appendix or something. While we were there, his fever just kept going up and he started to throw up. They decided to keep him over night to get him hydrated and get his fever, that got to 104.5, down. We didn't get settled in his room until 2:30am and then he didn't sleep until 3:30am because he was throwing up. He has had fluids all day today and has been sleeping most of the day! He had lots of visitors too, he was so out of it that he hardly noticed, but it was nice of them all to come and check up on him! He ate something this afternoon, but the Dr. wants to keep him in until tomorrow just to make sure it isn't anything but the flu. It still could be his appendix, but they aren't really sure what is causing his stomach pains and his fever! I feel better about staying here tonight just so they can keep an eye on him and I don't have to worry as much! It's hard not to wonder why a little guy that goes through so much already has to have this too! Hopefully we can go home tomorrow feeling a lot better!! I just hope it isn't the beginning of something with his appendix or anything else, but I have to leave that in God's hands or I will be completely drained! Pray that he would be able to fight off his fever and be able to go home tomorrow without any other complications. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns!
