It isn't that big of a deal, but it was kind of annoying at first. Anyways.... I had put our street address on one of the earlier posts, and here is our mailing address and new phone #.

Career Day and Jump Rope for Heart....

It is "I love to read" month at school and they have been dressing up on Fridays in different fun themes. This week it was, "what you want to be when you grow up", and Jaxon wanted to be just like his dad! He dressed in khaki's and a nice shirt along with dad's staff card and his notebook and pen. He was pretty excited to be like dad!

On Friday Jaxon also was involved in Jump Rope for Heart. He raised money and jumped all the P.E. hour. He loves to jump rope! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma's and Nathan for helping so Jaxon could jump!

This last pic is pretty cute! The boys came up,said they were in a marching band, and marched all around the house! They have a blast playing together!

Home Sweet Home...pics of what it looks like with our stuff inside

The living room

Hayden wanted me to take a picture of his bed, so here it is! Thanks grandma, grandpa and uncle Don for the boy's bedding!
I know this is boring, but I am proud of the boy's shades. I made them, which is pretty big for me! They are the paper ready shades that you just stick up and cut to the width that you need. They cost $5, then I used spray adhesive and put fabric on there to match. It worked out pretty good and was cheap! We will use these in a few rooms until we can get good ones in all. It works and it brightens up the rooms till we paint!
Upstairs bathroom

A couple of pics of our room with our king size bed! We didn't think it would fit, but it worked great. It is nice to have a king size, we got the bed from a few different places. My mom and dad gave us the mattress, we got the box springs from a sale at the Best Western, for $20 dollars and bought the frame! More room is good!!

Guest room, now Britt doesn't have to sleep on the couch!
Here is Jaxon and Jonah's room, they love their sports stuff!
I did the paper shade on this window too, it turned out really good!
Boy's bathroom
Here is our messy family room! The boys can at least play and watch movies now, but there is still a lot to be done.
We made it, we are here! I never thought it would come but, we have been here for almost a week. Last week was totally insane, but with lots of help we got moved on Sat. It was crazy how much we had accumulated at Mom and Dad's, it took 2 pick-up truck loads along with our car and dad's full! We had borrowed a friends truck for the weekend, otherwise we would have made many more trips! The boys did great the first night, they all stayed in their beds and slept good! That is a pretty big accomplishment because they have been sleeping by one of us for the last 6 months. We talked about it a lot and they had their new bedding so it was fun for them. Jaxon seemed the most excited about the move. We thought we would have to go into Fergus on Sunday, because we forgot Jaxon's shots, and Jaxon really didn't want to go. Thankfully grandpa met me in Dalton with a few things so we could just stay put! We worked the next few days just to make it livable, and by Monday it looked pretty good. We found most of our clothes and the boys were loving all their toys that they hadn't seen in 6 months! The boys had school on Tuesday, and it was so much fun to have that extra time with them in the morning. After Jeremy goes to school we have devotions and just hang out and talk. I love it!!
So now we start the huge process of going through all of our stuff, which there is way too much! But we will get through it all eventually. We are all really excited to be here and I think it will be really helpful for the boys and Jeremy. All we need now is to sell our house in Wheaton. That is a huge prayer request!

Another trip to Rochester!

Jaxon was being pretty silly here in the room waiting for Dr. Mason! He loves to lay on the table and watch TV.
Both Hayden and Jax got to see Jaxon's Dr. on this trip. Dr. Mason was the one referring Hayden to see a neurologist and rehab medicine.

We have been meaning to get a pic of Dr. Mason and Jaxon for so long! He is one of the nicest guys that I have met and has helped us out a ton! Plus Jaxon loves him! He is wonderful with Jax!
The boys had a blast running off some energy from waiting around the clinic!

The scoop......

We had a few appts. for the boys this past Monday and Tuesday in Rochester and had some weather problems so we left Sunday afternoon. It seems like there is always some kind of weather issue that I have to worry about, which is annoying to have to think through! It was a good thing we left on Sun. or we would not have made it in time for the double appt. to see Dr. Mason. Grandpa Matt and Grandma came with us to help me out with the boys since I had both of them at appts. that overlapped. Grandpa drove, which took alot of stress out for me!! Dr. Mason was referring us on for Hayden and just checking up on Jaxon to see how things were going after his injections. Jaxon has had a couple of good weeks so we are starting to taper off his steroids to see if he can start growing again! He is really blessed to have a Dr. that really knows what is going on and is so concerned about the rest of us and what he can do to help us out! We stayed at G&G Knick's on Monday night and had lots of fun! Then we had to wake up really early for a CT scan for Jaxon at 8am. He did great and even had to get an IV, which for him is a huge deal, but it went really well. He does have some inflammation around his rectum, which isn't real bad but we are starting a med that will help that hopefully!! He had some blood work, saw his GI Dr. and was done for the day, only to wait for his brother, who had some more appts.
I have been wanting a second opinion in Hayden for awhile now, so we saw a neurologist and a rehab Dr. to make sure he was doing alright and that we were doing everything right for him now. They both said that he really is doing good and has recovered great! He does have things that we just need to watch, like his bladder and bowels. Also he could have eye issues that we have to keep regularly checking, but all in all it was confirming for me and that is priceless these days!
We didn't get home until 10:30pm on Tues. night and were up early driving to Wheaton to get ready to move. We met the movers at our house at 10am and hung out at our friends house until they were done loading up. The boys had a blast with the kids and I got to visit and catch up with Starla, who I miss a lot! Thanks Tekrony's, we miss you!! Then we followed the truck to Ashby and directed where things were to go. It was a really long, but fun day! The 2 boys did so good!!
On Thursday mom and I went to our house and unpacked about 30 boxes, mainly kitchen stuff. We got a lot done while Jaxon and Jonah were at school. Then Jeremy and dad set up all of our beds and unloaded yet some more stuff!
That brings us to today, which was the big closing day!! We are now owners of the house, and we'll be staying there tomorrow night, if I can get everything packed and cleaned at mom and dad's. How did so much stuff accumulate in 6 months?? It has been a huge week and we are all so tired! Mom and dad have been helping us out and working like crazy too, so they will be able to crash alone this weekend! And I'm sure they will enjoy it, but it might be too quiet for them!?? Maybe not!! I know the boys will miss them a ton, but now we are only 20 min. away!! I probably won't be able to update this for awhile, until we get our phone and stuff set up, but I will take more pics and post them asap!! Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers!

I know, I know....more pics, but we're excited!!!

I was at the house today to turn off a light, so I decided to show you the nearly finished product! Outside looks awesome, they cleaned up around and still need to even out our driveway.
The shutters went on and add a lot!
I know this is kind of funny, but when I went in today these shelves were going up and I didn't think we would have a linen closet, which would have been hard. So this was pretty exciting for me!!
They put our house # on today too! Our new address is 140 Birch Circle Ashby, MN 56309.
