A Colorado Wedding!

We started our trip out with a crazy landing into Denver! It took us an hour more to get to the ground, because we had to pull up twice to try another approach. The wind was nuts, it was making us go everywhere. We could see the shadow of the tail of the airplane on the right wing, that is how sideways we were! There were a lot of people throwing up, the guy in the isle next to us made it hard not to do the same! But we got down and had to start the 5 + hour drive to Grand Junction, where we stayed the nigh,t so we could pick up Jer's tux the next morning. It was hard to drive in the mountains! Way harder than the flat land of MN/ND!! but it was beautiful!!

Here is Jeremy as we were starting our trip in Denver! Pre-haircut!!

Shaving party

The Groomsmen in Jesse and Rochelle's wedding all wanted to show their support of their friend who is going through chemo right now. They all got into our hotel room last night around 10pm, and went to town. It all went pretty fast, but they shaved it too, with shaving cream and a shaver! Needless to say, the guys had a blast, but our room was pretty messy after. I'm sure that the front desk workers thought it was kind of scary seeing all of those guys walking around with white, bald heads! They all looked great at the wedding though, and Jesse loved it!
Mike, Jesse's brother in-law was the first one to go!

This is all of the hair at the end! Good thing they went and picked up a cheap shower curtain! Kinda gross huh???

Hair......No hair!!

This is for the sake of our boys, so that they can see Daddy's head without hair, and have some time to get use to it before we get home tomorrow!! Here is the start....
I'm glad he didn't stay with this look!

Hopefully this is not what happens in the future!
He looks good with this, and it was totally worth it!!

The first party in our new house!

It is crazy, but Jonah will be five a week from today! We had a great party at our new house, it was a big deal to be the first one with the honors!
It is rare when Jonah gives us a good smile for the camera, he's always making a silly face or doing some pose, but today he had tons of great smiles. Plus he actually opened all of his cards first, before touching any of the gifts. I didn't know patience came as a gift @ 5 yrs old, pretty impressive!!
Now it's present time!

As you can see it was a Spiderman theme, he was everywhere!
He got all the candles out after a few tries!
Spiderman pose!
Aren't they cute??
Trying the spiderman web blaster! He got to do it into the shower cause it was a messy clean up, but oh so fun!!

**Jonah and mom worked on thank-yous after the party, here they are....**

Thanks great grandpa's and grandma's for the cards and money, I will try to spend it wisely!
Thanks grandpa Kevers, grandma J. and aunt Britt for the spiderman gear:
Mask, web blaster and water blaster. Spiderman shirt and shorts, which I have not taken off since the party!! I even slept in them!!

Thanks uncle Nathan and Amber for the cool flying robot, as I (Jonah) call it!!
Thanks grandpa Matt and grandma Judy for the MP3 player, comfy headphones and shirt to match. By the way, I have been grooving to it non-stop since dad got my favorite songs on it, which include Newsies, Go Fish and Star Wars!

Thanks to everyone for coming, I had a great birthday!! ---Jonah

Man alive, look who's 5!!

Jonah has a birthday coming up on Sunday. We had the party early because Jeremy and I will be in Colorado, for a wedding this weekend, getting back late on his actual b-day! Here are some pics of how cute Jonah was as a baby/toddler and how handsome he is growing to be!
He has always known how to make us smile, you can see it in his eyes!
This is one of my favorites of Jax and Jonah together!

Check out the bed-head, isn't it awesome!!
This will always be my favorite pic of Jonah!

The title of this post was written on Jonah's card from great-grandpa Vold, I just had to use it!

A belated birthday!

Jaxon was watching me look for pictures for Jonah's birthday post and asked if I had made one for his b-day! So, since I hadn't started our blog at the time of his b-day, here are some pics of Jaxon and his party. His birthday was on Nov. 9th, and he turned seven!
His favorite snack is chips and salsa!

He is a huge Peterson fan!

Seven years ago to now.....

It's hard to believe that he is seven! It has gone way to fast! Jaxon is such a good boy and big brother. He has been through a ton in his seven years, but God has always been there for him along with lots of great family and friends, who never stop praying! Thank you all!!
