Update......

I just wanted to write a little bit about Jax and Hayden, especially for family, to catch up. Jaxon has been having a rough couple of weeks, he has been in a lot of pain. His ankles have been really sore and swollen, his hips have been bothering him (which hasn't been a problem, lately), and his shoulders have been really sore too. Of course, he has been such a trooper, as usual, but we can tell it is taking it's toll on him. He as been more sad lately, and having a hard time concentrating at school. I know this sounds really dreary, and sad, but I know those who read this blog, are praying. Prayer is one of the main reasons, that we have made it through these last few years! We have so many people praying, thank you so much! This is just a little update on how to pray for Jax. It is such a roller coaster of a disease, sometimes we just coast through our days, with Jax being just fine, then there are days like we've had, that are more hard. He has been pretty resilient, these last few years. But these flares, are harder and harder to work through, for him. I think he is realizing more and more, what he is dealing with.
Then there is Hayden.... he has been doing great, these last few years. He just got new braces, last month, that you can't even see in his shoes! But, on Sunday evening, he crawled upstairs, crying about his right leg. He didn't walk the rest of the night, and was in a lot of pain. The weird thing is, that I could move it all over, if I just went slowly. We tried to get him to stand on it, but he would just fall over to the right. We put him to bed, and checked on him lots during the night. He woke up doing a little better, but still falling over some, and unable to walk up the stairs. So, I decided to call his neurologist, because it just didn't feel right, with his background. They were glad I called, cause it wasn't normal, and told us that he needed to have a MRI, just to make sure. Since Monday, after his nap, he has been just fine. Walking around, with out falling, and climbing the stairs, with no problems. We have his MRI tomorrow morning @ 6:45am, in Fargo. Not the best time, cause we have to leave here @ 5am, but it will be good to check it out. There can be relapses of the Transverse Myelitis, but it is rare. There is also a greater risk of MS, since he had TM, so it will be good to make sure to rule those things out, because it is probably nothing!
Now you are all caught up, life just doesn't slow down around our house!! But, we are so thankful, and blessed, for the prayers and support we have in our lives!
