Our new addition to the family

When we got Sophie 2 months ago, we had no clue or even thought about her being pregnant. I was starting to wonder what was going on a few weeks ago, because she just kept getting bigger and bigger. I just thought she was eating too much, but then I started to wonder if she could have come to us pregnant. Last Thursday, while I was cleaning her cage, Jeremy was holding her, and he felt something move around. We watched her closely the next few days, and her tummy would just go crazy! On Tuesday morning, we got to watch her give birth. Jeremy heard something when he came into the room, and looked in to see her with 2 already, and called us in. We watched the 3rd come out in the sac, and Sophie bite it so the baby could breath. It was pretty incredible! She then started cleaning them right away, and soon they were walking around making noises! We think that they are all 3 girls, and will keep checking these next few weeks, just to make sure. If they are, we will probably keep all 3, get another cage, so 2 can share. We had been talking about getting the other 2 one anyways, so this works out great! They say that they should not be alone, so they will have plenty of company!
The three little ones minutes after they were born!

Here is Sophie feeding them. They somehow all get under her and are able to eat. They are 4 days old now and are eating regular food, and drinking water. They still have their mom, but they can eat regular food already too!

Here they are at 1 day old. All clean and so cute!

Baby #1~ Jaxon's Asoka (from has favorite cartoon Star Wars the Clone wars) We think she was born first, and has different hair than Minnie and Sophie.

Baby #2~ Hayden's Minnie. She was the last one born, we actually got to watch her come out. It was pretty amazing! She has the same hair as her mommy, Sophie. Hayden wanted her right away, he called her the "down hair one"!

Baby #3~ Jonah's little Lola. We think she was the 2nd one born, she has the same hair as Asoka, and is the loudest out of all 3 of them!

Morghan's Baptism

There were a lot of boys, right around Jaxon and Jonah's age, they had fun getting to know each other!
We drove down to Eau Claire for the weekend, for Morghan's baptism. We had a great trip, and it was so much fun to see Jon, Angi and the kids! I haven't seen where they live yet, so it was great to be there. Jeremy and I had the honor of being Godparents to Morghan, Jeremy was in Indiana visiting Jesse, so he wasn't able to be there. We had the little service at Bethasda Church, in one of their Sunday school rooms. First we started out with the baptism, then had something to eat!
Here is the whole Rogness family, even though the kids aren't looking.

Jonah's Nursery Rhyme Concert

Jonah and his class did a nursery rhyme concert a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been able to get the pictures up yet, but he has been asking me a ton, if I would, so here they are! They learned a ton of songs, and dressed up as character's of the nursery rhymes. Jonah was the "clock" of Hickory Dickory Dock. He did a great job, and looked super cute!

Jeremy and Jesse

Jesse and Jeremy as babies
These are pictures of Jeremy and his best friend Jesse growing up. For those of you who don't know, Jesse died after a hard battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 31st. Jeremy was blessed to have gone to visit Jesse the week before, in Indiana, where he was having treatment. He was able to help care for him, and give Jesse's mom a break! He was also able to go to the memorial service in Colorado, the weekend after he died. I know he misses Jesse everyday, and will continue to do so! Pray especially for his wife, parents, sisters, and friends as they work through this hard time!

Happy Birthday Jonah!

On Monday, was Jonah's 6th Birthday! We had already given him his B-day present, about a month ago, Sophie, the guinea pig. Of course, we still celebrated the weekend before, his actual b-day. We went to Fergus for the weekend, and started off celebrating at Grandma J.'s and Grandpa Kevin's! We had a great lunch, but before we ate, Grandma J. said that Jonah could open his presents first! That made his day of course!!

Hmm....I wonder what's in these?

He got a great outfit from Grandma and Grandpa, and a Toy Story Lego ship!

Transformer's from aunt Bert!

I have no idea what this face was, but he got a Bakugan and a cool Star Wars shirt, from Nathan and Amber. It was a great afternoon!

Next we went to Grandpa Matt and Grandma Judy's. We stayed the night cause Mom, Grandpa and Grandma had to go to a wedding. But we had a Birthday brunch on Sunday morning. Grandma made rolls, eggs and bacon, it was great! Then he got to open some more presents.

Grandpa and Grandma went in with us, on Sophie for Jonah, but wanted to be able to give him something, on his birthday. He got an exercise thing for Sophie, and some Playmobile pirates! It was a good weekend! On Monday, his actual birthday we made cupcakes for his class, and he got to bring Sophie in, to show his class. He loved showing her off to his friends, they all thought she was pretty cute, and she did really well, with all those kids!

One thing we can't seem to get very often, is Jonah looking at the camera! But as you can see he loved all the presents he got!

My Hubby is Teacher of the Week!!

This is about a little late, but I wanted to post it anyways! Jeremy was nominated, (by me) for teacher of the week, and got it! It was so fun, because I was there, when he heard. A bunch of his kids, came and told him that they had heard it on the radio, that morning. Then Mr. Otte (the principal) announced it on the intercom, and the lady, from our little town, came and took his picture.

I added this just for him!!

He won a $10 gift cert. to Papa Murphy's, and a teacher's arrangement, from Wild Rose!

I had to add these pics, because I think it is so cool, and he does such a great job at what he does! He really deserves to be teacher of the year, but this will do great! I just wanted you to see how creative he is. For " I love to Read", month this year, they decided to have an Olympic theme. Each class chose a country involved in the winter Olympics, and did fun projects, and learned lots about their countries. Then at the end of the month, they had a tour of countries, where the kids could walk to each classroom and learn a little bit about each country. They even had some snacks to go with each country. The 1st graders chose China, and Jeremy and his class made a ton of great art!

This side had lots of info about China, and even pics of some of the Olympians.

Underneath that, there was a table with a chance to try using chopsticks, and a fortune cookie snack. He got a big box of 350, for really cheap, and the kids loved them!

Other wall, with info on the Chinese new year, and some cool dragons.
I love you lots Jer, and am really proud of all the hard work you do! Your a great teacher, and the kids are lucky to have you!

Here you can see all that he hung up! They also made really cool lanterns and other artwork.

Their goal for "I love to Read" month, was 500 books, for a gold. And they read way over 500 books!
