Oh my goodness, oh my goodness.....

The house is days away from being done, they just have a few things left to do!! The carpet was laid yesterday and all the light fixtures are in and most of our appliances. We are going to have our walk through on the 10th and we are moving in our things from Wheaton on the 11th. We also hope to close the 11th too and will try to get things at least somewhat ready to be able to stay there that weekend! It is actually happening!! The boys are pretty pumped!
They still have a little bit of the siding left but we love the way it looks already!

Here is the backside of the house from the parking lot of the school. That is how close we are!
Now it's looking like a kitchen!

Here is Hayden in his own room. He thinks it's pretty cool!

Upstairs bathroom.
Our railing going downstairs. I love how this looks!

Going downstairs.

Now I can wash some clothes!
Jaxon and Jonah are really excited to be in a room together downstairs.

Jaxon and Jonah-Swimming and Basketball!!

Jaxon started physical therapy to help him build up his muscles and get him moving without putting any pressure on his joints! The water is warm at around 87 degrees. He has so much fun swimming!
He has learned to swim under water in the last few weeks. Here he got some rings that were on the step!
Ashby has been having a b-ball camp for the kids. They had it for preschool too, Jonah was so pumped!! This is the first basketball camp he has been able to go to and he had a blast!

The boys got Arrow shirts and their own basketball! Jaxon loves having a b-ball that is Ashby colors! Jax found out that he could make shots in the big hoop!

Painting with friends!

We got to go paint our house this weekend, which was really fun!! Dan, Christine and Isaiah Lawson came to help us, which was a huge help! Isaiah came along and was such a good boy, he just hung out with us and was pretty happy the whole time! We started at about 11am and worked until about 5:30pm. We got so much done. The whole kitchen, dinning and living room are one color. And the hallway and entry way are a shade darker. It was really great to get all of that done, plus we got to do it before the carpet went down and the counter tops weren't glued down yet so we could move them out to paint. So that made it so much easier!
Isaiah is such a cute little boy and I loved to get to know him more! He loves to smile and cuddle, he is such a good little boy!
Dan getting ready to finish this wall, it all seemed to go so fast with the 4 of us painting.
Christine did most of the edging which is not the easy part!
Isn't he so cute!
What...??? Jeremy was ready to go home. This was at the end of our day and we were pretty tired!
Here is the final product of our painting. As you can see we have cabinets and our floors in the kitchen and entry way! It really is getting close, I can't wait!! They said the carpet will go in by the 30th and everything else will be done by the 3rd of Feb. or so. We will be closing on the 11th or 12th of Feb. but we are trying to get our stuff in there the weekend of the 7th and 8th. We probably won't get in there until after we close because of our trip to Rochester on the 9th and 10th. February is getting busy really fast!

Can we move in now??

The house is really almost done!!

It is hard to believe but the house is only a few days away from being done!! Here are the first inside pics that we have. We just went in today, the back door was open(dad went around back to check). They had all of the walls textured and the ceilings were done. A lot of the trim was done downstairs. It was really fun to see. The first few pics are downstairs, this one is the family room looking towards the front of the house.
Jaxon and Jonah's room.
The guest room.
The downstairs bathroom.
Stairs going to the upstairs from the entry way.
This pic was taken from our sliding glass doors looking towards the entry way and bathroom. The kitchen is on the right.
Will be the kitchen in a few days!
The entry way looking down from the living room.
The upstairs bathroom. The tub is to the right and to the left is the vanity and straight ahead is the toilet and then take a right to the master bedroom.

The boys are ready for sledding! This is the first time this winter for the boys and the first time for Hayden ever! Grandpa and Daddy took them to Hillcrest hill, or as they call it grandpa's work hill(grandpa's office building is in the background).
Jaxon was all bundled up!
Jonah had a blast!
Hayden wasn't sure at first and was a little scared but had tons of fun!
Even dad got in on the fun! Next time he needs snow pants.

Rochester....

I finally got a picture of Jaxon and Great-Grandpa and Grandma Knick! He is so blessed, as are we, to have them to stay with when we are in Rochester. It is a comfort for Jax to have them there! We had to drive through icky weather on Monday night! There were so many cars in the ditch, but Jeremy drove great and got us there safely! I am so glad he was driving cause there is no way I would have made it. We had an early morning on Tues. with Dr. Mason. Jaxon had cortisone shots in both knees and ankles. He was going to have the same in the hips, but we need to have a radiologist to do that! He was put out, so he didn't feel a thing!! The whole thing took about an hour, that's with prep and waking up too. It went so fast and so well. We were waiting for Jaxon in the waiting room and all of the sudden we saw Jesse Permann's (one of Jeremy's good friends) sister walk by. It was so amazing to see her and Jesse's family! They were on the same floor and the same wing as us, isn't that weird?!? He was there for some appts. and we were hoping to catch up with him but hadn't even called him yet! It was great to see him and his family! We had lunch with them and I was able to meet his fiance, which was a lot of fun! We had an appt. with a G.I. Dr. too that day and we found out that Jaxon probably has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. We will find out for sure after a CT scan and some blood work, but that explains all the stomach problems he has been having since he was a baby. We will be able to start meds after the CT scan. which will be at the beginning of Feb. The trip back was so much better as far as roads went! It was a breeze! Jaxon slept almost the whole way home and was pretty sore the rest of the day and Wed. He went to school today(Thursday) and felt good, so we will see what the next few weeks will bring. I think that he will start to feel lots better in those bad spots now with the meds right into his knees and ankles!! We will go back Feb. 9th and 10th for quite a few appts. for Jaxon and Hayden. We are getting a second opinion on Hayden, which will be a huge help for me! So that is the sum up of Rochester with more to come later after our appts. in Feb. Thanks for all of your prayers!

Basketball Game-Go Daddy!!

We went to Jeremy's basketball game on Thursday night. It was the first one with Jeremy as the Ashby boys JV coach, that we were able to go to. It was at Hillcrest, here in Fergus so we didn't have to go very far. Here is Jeremy in a huddle with his guys. They lost this game but they played really good and kept the game close.
Jonah and Hayden were in there matching jackets from Grandma J. I love this pic with dad in the background coaching.
Jonah was trying to get Hayden to look at mom.
Jonah was dancing and wanted me to take his picture! What a face, I love it!!
Jaxon wasn't feeling to great that night and was sad that dad's team lost!
